Cost & Prize
There’s no cost for founders to attend Distilled Intelligence. We cover your hotel, all meals, and on-site transport—just get yourself to Dulles Airport. Fortify Ventures is awarding $1 million in prize money for companies who choose to participate in DI's pitch competition, structured as investments through modified SAFEs..
Application Process
We carefully curate each attendee to ensure exceptional chemistry and quality at DI. The founder application is simple and takes less than 10 minutes—submit your pitch deck and key company details to help us understand your vision.

Time commitment
Distilled Intelligence isn’t a club based on arbitrary exclusivity—it’s a summit uniting brilliant minds tackling society’s biggest problems and poised to reshape massive or emerging markets. We don’t require pre-event commitments or burdensome prep; your presence, ideas, and contributions during DI are what truly matter.
What to expect
The Distilled Intelligence application and selection process is easy, clear, and moves quickly. Applications are reviewed (and acceptances offered) on a rolling basis, so applying early is strongly encouraged. Here’s a brief overview of important dates and milestones:
- Application Opens: February 1
- Final Application Deadline: August 15
- Acceptances: Rolling basis, finalized by September 15
- Arrive at Dulles Airport: October 13 mid-day
- Structured conversations and informal networking: October 13 & 14
- Pitch Day: October 15
- Event Wrap-Up & Pitch Prizes: October 16
